PLANNING BLOG POSTS 101
It’s been a while since I did a proper blogging 101 blog post, and I thought that it is about that time again, seeing as I’m back in full swing with blogging! Now, if you follow the YouTube channel, Beauty Corner SA, you will know that a while ago I did a planning video marking the beginning of the new year, and how to be more efficient and productive. Through planning of course!
The blog post is no different. Using the same points as I did in that video, which I will link at the bottom of the blog post if you want a more thorough explanation, I will be linking them to blogging as well. 🙂
5 TIPS TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE
INVEST IN A PLANNER AND A NOTEBOOK
This is very helpful to get your thoughts and plans in order. A planner is important because it is often dates and has spaces for your notes and reminders and such. It becomes helpful especially when you need to remember meetings, have to jot down reminders, and to do lists etc. This becomes helpful when organizing and prioritizing activities. A notebook is helpful for when you want to jot down thoughts and ideas that you may come up with at any point during the day, or evening. Its handy to carry a notebook with you.
HAVE A PROPER BLOG PLANNING SESSION
This is really important if you want everything regarding your blog to flow on a timely basis, and you want to make sure you are always consistency. Consistency is key in the lifespan of a blog, because you dont want people forgetting about your blog when there aren’t any people who read your content anymore- because they don’t know its there! So have a planning session! Choose how many times a week you want to upload content on the blog, what you are going to upload, whether you are going to pre-schedule or not. It is extremely important to have a planning session!
DIARIZE THE IMPORTANT DATES AND EVENTS!
So sometimes as a blogger, you often come across events you must attend, if you are speaking to brands you have to diarize deadlines for blog work. That kind of thing. It is extremely important to stay above the water and stick to commitment and attend events to get yourself out there as a blogger. If you take your work seriously, other people will too. This applies to all spheres of your life. So prioritizing by diarizing is extremely important.
HAVE A CLEAN WORK SPACE!!!
This is soooo important! If you are going to collect your thoughts and have a clean and fresh mindset, you MUST work in a space that makes your thoughts flow, ideas run thick and fast, and encourages a clean space of mind. This is extremely important. It encourages creativity, productivity and efficiency in your planning sessions.
Make planning a consistent part of your life! Integrate it into your daily routine! To be productive you must take the steps to do so and consistently! This is often the hardest part, however it is often what builds productivity!
