Hey hey!!!

I recently went on a trip with my best friend of like 23 years on a girls weekend getaway, and while we were there, she saw the skincare I was using and said “This is not the skincare you use at home”. After a grin and chuckle, I said to her, “Yes, this is true. At home I use all Clinique products on my face, but when I travel I don’t like to take my expensive skincare with me (just in case I lose it, or forget it at the hotel), so I have a less expensive travel skincare set that I take with me on trips”. This gave me the inspiration to do this blog post on what I use on my face when traveling! πŸ™‚

When I travel, taking skincare that is less expensive, FOR ME, is always the safer option. I mean, come on, skincare is extremely expensive (well, good skincare, lets be honest), thats why I do not mess about when taking this into consideration. The next best alternative for my skin, happened to be Bioderma. I have not looked back! The first product I started using on my face from Bioderma, was the Micellar Water, for removing makeup, and from there, I have always wanted to try out Bioderma skincare. I opted to go for the Blue range, which is better known as the HYDRABIO range, because I bought these products as we were heading into Winter (around the end of April), and I knew that my skincare CRAVES hydration in the colder months! Found in this range is the aquagenium patent which stimulates cells and revives the skin’s natural hydration process!

I must say ever since beginning to use these products when I was away from home (not only when travelling, but when staying over at a friends place too, etc), I have been LOVING the results, especially how my skin looks and feels first thing in the morning! πŸ™‚

I have FOUR products from Bioderma which I use on my skin.

  • Hydrabio Creme (Night Time cream I use as it is a lot thicker) R320
  • Hydrabio Essence LotionΒ
  • HydraBio Gel CremeΒ Light (Which I use in the mornings, wonderful for moisturizing before applying makeup) R320
  • Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel-Β (Facial wash for double cleansing when removing makeup) R199

Hydrabio Gel Creme

I love using these products, and if I must confess, sometimes I use the Gel Creme even when I’m at home. Feels amazing on the skin, light, yet hydrating enough to keep my skin moisturized even under a full face of makeup! πŸ™‚ A little bit of a subtle scent, very pleasing to inhale actually, lol, but goes away as soon as you apply it on to the skin. πŸ™‚

Hydrabio Creme

The thicker Creme is great for using in the evenings because it is VERY rich, yet creamy, and creates a thicker layer of hydration for your skin while you sleep. No particular scents or odours, which makes the product wonderful for people who aren’t big fans of scented products.

Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Lotion

Love this cleanser! It sits in my shower! If you follow me on Snapchat you would know this! πŸ™‚ <3 I love the fact that all Bioderma products take into account sensitivity of the skin, and even when rubbing this product all over the eye area when cleansing my face, there is little to none burn, and that is a big plus for me. Smooth and silky, the product does a GREAT job at cleansing the skin.

Such a big fan of these products! πŸ™‚

This is not a detailed review, but just a post on my travel skincare. If you want a review, let me know!

Let me know if you use any Bioderma products and which ones are your faves! I’d love to know ! πŸ™‚ <3

Until the next one,
