GRATITUDE FOR FAMILY

| MONDAY MOTIVATION

Hey Hey!!!

I trust you had a SUPER and relaxing weekend, because we are back at it! It is officially THAT time of the week again, MONDAY 🙂

This week I thought to tackle something that we often take for granted so much…. FAMILY.

The reason why is because I’ve been having some emotionally taxing times in the last few weeks with things I just can’t bring myself to share, but my family knows about, and they have been AWESOME at helping me control what has been happening, giving me support, walking with me on this difficult path.

TAKING FAMILY FOR GRANTED…

It made me think how often we take those close to us for granted. With family we shout, swear, cuss, get so frustrated that at times we just don’t want to be around them, but they always and I mean ALWAYS stay. They never leave. They support you through your worst days. For me its days where I struggle to get out of bed, where my thoughts and emotions weigh down on my so heavily, that functioning seems just so IMPOSSIBLE. My family pulls me out of this dark space. They stay with me, get me out to see the sun, handle my tantrums and breakdowns and ALWAYS support me, even when I know its strenuous for them to do so.

I want you to take this week to be thankful for your  family. The ones who go all out for you. Support you at your worst, while loving you at your best.

Such a wonderful gift, family.

We can’t choose them, we live with them, deal with them.

See us at our worst, yet love us at out best….

They are the witnesses to the lives we live, and they love us through all of it.

The storms, the sunshine. Family is always there.

Take this week to remind yourself of all the good people in your family, that love you unconditionally.

The ones that always STAY….

Thank them this week. Show them that you acknowledge them and are thankful for the wonderful people they are, and how much joy they bring to your life. Family is not perfect. It is not meant to be.

Love them anyway….

To my family members who read this:

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. For all you have done, for all the moments.

The sad times, the good and the bad.

Thank you for seeing the good in me, which I sometimes do not see in myself.

You are the honey to my life. You are loved, so much. By me. <3

Thank your family members this week. Remind them that you notice them, you are the witness to THEIR lives <3

Do it.

Until the next one,

Live in Light and Love <3
