PERSISTENCE AND LOVE ARE INTERTWINED

 MONDAY MOTIVATION

Hello Everyone!

About that time again, where we need a little nourishment for our minds to get us started for the week. Over the last few weeks, I tell you, had it not been for persistence, I would have given up on many tasks or projects I had set out on doing. This is because, when it gets hard…

…IT GETS REALLY HARD.

I know. Believe me I do. The easiest thing to often do, when we reach difficulty level 100, we are more inclined to want to give up. It is even HARDER to want to  continue after we feel like we have failed and failed countless times before. However persistence goes largely hand in hand with NOT GIVING UP.

“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but its persistence”.

“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in”.

I know how it is.

You may feel that you put in so much of your time and effort to working to be the best you can become, achieve power and success, or even fame, that you don’t seem to be seeing any results. However, it is how persistent you will be that guarantees success in achieving all your goals and desires eventually.

Oh we know that you look at others and think, how come some can achieve overnight success? What am I doing wrong?

First things first.

  1. DO NOT compare yourself to other people or their journey. It is not yours. Focus on YOURS.
  2. You do NOT know how much work, time and effort they have put into where they are now, who are you do make judgements on that?
  3. Your journey is your own. Keep your head down, work hard, and run your own race. The point here is- KEEP RUNNING. DO NOT STOP. PERSISTENCE.

“Your most valuable asset can be your willingness to persist, longer than anyone else “

So remember this week, that as much as sometimes the journey may seem long and hard, but at the end of the day, the key, is to keep going! If it you love it, you’ll NEVER want to give up on it.

“The ART of Love, is largely the ART of persistence”- Albert Ellis

Practice Patience and Persistence this week. This is your task.

Until the next one,
